At FastBraiin, we don't think of medication as an answer to ADHD, only as part of the solution when needed.

In the FastBraiin Success Center , alongside structural and behavioral changes, we also prescribe medication when appropriate; the fact is, medication has proven to be very effective in helping many FastBraiin clients thrive. There are a wide variety of ADHD medications and, when medication is recommended, we're committed to finding exactly the right medication at exactly the right dosage level that works best for an individual.

Medications help modulate the brain's neurotransmitters, which in turn helps improve the individual's working memory, making it easier to hold an idea or thought, and in many cases, aiding in control of impulses and movement.

Whenever we prescribe a stimulant medication for a client, it is only after a thorough review of the history, scoring attention and other surveys deemed appropriate, a neurological physical exam, an EKG to rule out heart rhythm disorders, computer tests for attention, and interaction with the individual and family. Though medication does have side effects, when used appropriately and closely monitored, the side effects should be minimal. Our goal is always to use the lowest dosage of medicine while obtaining the optimum response.
